All women police station
Tamilnadu was the first state to open special police stations to be controlled eclusively by women. The move was to help the women who are normally the oppressed to feel free and seek justice with the help of police.
Exploitation of women in kidney donation
Before the Govt. of India banned the sale of human organs, some indulged in exploiting the women by luring them to sell kidneys for a paltry sum, while the middle men raked in huge profits doing virtually nothing. The film in a span of five minutes highlighted the problems of women who lost their organ and gained very little.
These two short films, each of 5 minutes duration was made for TV AM, and were later telecast on Doordarshan, Delhi as part of the series 'The status of women in India' The films depict two contrasting status of women.
